Jonathan started playing keyboard from an early age with an impressive natural ability to play by ear. His knack for playing anything and everything made him a quality accompanist to solo singers.
This led swiftly to sessions with various bands worldwide and recordings within some of London's premier studio facilities. Among the most important of these have been sessions with the 'MFA PLC' agency, alongside singer/song writer 'Tony Gibber'. This agency is famous for the composition of some of the UK's best known jingles and TV series/film tracks. Recent credits include the Abbey National TV track, as well as the current 'Top of the Pops' theme music.
His wide musical interests over the years, originating from the pop, rock and Latin genres, have clearly influenced his musical ability, making him highly versatile in his domain.
As well as being a great musician in his capacity as frontline keyboard player in Gilev, Jonny's strengths lie in band leadership and total event management. Jonny is a natural businessman, an entrepreneur, with skills in organization and logistic co-ordination, as well as sales and marketing. He prides himself on the smooth running of an event from start to finish, dealing with all the technical issues that could possibly arise at any occasion.
From Duo to 15 piece show-band, Jonny has been the steadfast "rock" that has allowed Gilev to become what it is today -simply the best show-band in the country. And it's getting better!
